Recording & Screenshots

The Terminal includes built-in recording and screenshot tools — no external software needed.

Press Cmd+Shift+S to capture a screenshot of the current workspace. The screenshot is saved to your desktop.

You can also capture individual elements:

  • Right-click a panel and choose Capture Panel to screenshot just that panel
  • Use Gee-Code’s DevBrowserScreenshot to capture just the browser content

Press Cmd+Shift+R to start recording your workspace. A red indicator appears in the status bar.

Press Cmd+Shift+R again to stop. The recording is automatically converted to MP4 format.

Create product demos showing your app in action:

  1. Set up a clean layout with your app in the browser
  2. Start recording in browser-only mode
  3. Walk through the feature
  4. Stop recording

Record a Gee-Code session to show how AI-assisted debugging works:

  1. Open a workspace with browser + Gee-Code terminal
  2. Start recording
  3. Ask Gee-Code to debug or build something
  4. Stop recording

The recording captures both the AI conversation and the browser’s response in real time.

Recordings are saved as MP4 files with H.264 encoding — widely compatible with all video players, browsers, and sharing platforms.
